Aera Creative is born
What can we say, after much long awaited anticipation (mostly on our part) AERA has been born.
What may have started out as a collaborative circle of creative minds bouncing ideas around, has transformed into a unified purpose and directive towards an art form that we feel passionately about. That passion is for more than mere aesthetic design, it’s for the art of taking an idea and making it come to life.
AERA is about inspiration. No we are not claiming to be visionaries or prolific gods of the design realm, we simply feel inspired and the idea of being able to use that inspiration to create is what drives us. It’s about drawing inspiration from our history, our surroundings and own personal backgrounds to develop new and innovative strategies bound by the ideals of the past, future and present. It’s about looking at things from more than one perspective and seeing new ideas emerge from old ones.
What makes AERA different is the union of artistic and creative individuals from different areas of expertise all bringing to the table a different set eyes, ears and talents. It’s not about chain of command or an art director pushing ideas to a team of work horse designers. It’s about creative brainstorming with an invested, whole hearted interest. We feel that this gives us an approach to design that isn’t bound by individual routines or habits. It forces us to take our own criticism and wether we like it or not it makes us better at what we do.
What we here at AERA are striving for is to be able to make a living doing what we love and as corny and cheesy as that may sound, it’s the truth. We hope you’ll welcome us to the industry and wether you use our services or not, we hope you peek in once and awhile to see what we’re up to.

I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm.
